The online education industry has been in the news lately due to a recent announcement by the National Education Agency that it was seeking to introduce a minimum online course standard for teachers and students.
The government’s aim is to create a standardised system of online courses across the country by 2020.
While some schools are already preparing for the transition, others are still trying to prepare for the new standards, and others have not.
Online education, like any other form of education, has its own set of challenges.

“It’s a bit like a school of fish and a school for the fish.
We want our fish to grow, we want them to get along, we’ll look after them, and when they come back we’ll put them back in their own aquarium.”

SAe will also be available to teachers and student in the future.
SAE will provide a new “student experience”, Elliott said.
Students will be given access to the SA e standard and will be expected to learn in the same way they would any other online course.
Elliott also announced that the Government is planning to introduce SA e in 2020.

The national standard will be a standard for teaching and research in the academic disciplines, such as business, engineering, law and education.
SA Ed will also incorporate SA e and will take into account the best practice in SA e teaching.

Elliott added that the National Standards Council will also produce SA ed.

The number of students who completed online courses rose to 3.8 million in the first six months of the year, up 6.6 percent from the same period last year.
The number of courses completed in the United States increased to 725,000, up 17 percent from 678,000 in the same time period.
China’s online education system remains among the most popular among countries in the world, according to a study by China University of Information Technology and Communications (CITIC), which also reported the largest increase in students completing courses online in China.
More students in China, the United Kingdom and Japan have completed online learning in the past year, according the CITIC report.
More than 5 million people in China completed online classes in the period, a record for China.
In the United Kingdom, online education accounted for nearly half of the total online education in the year to June 30.
More students in England completed online education than in any other country, according data from the Office for National Statistics.
The United Kingdom recorded the second highest number of online students, with 3,847,903.
The United States recorded a 2.7 percent increase in the number of college students who attended online classes.
The number is nearly double the rate for the past five years.
Students in the Philippines completed online studies on average last year for the first time since 2006, according statistics from the Ministry of Education.
Online education in China grew by 5 percent in the three years to June 2020, while the number fell by 3 percent in 2020.
In the U.K., the number increased by 9 percent in that period, while students in the U:P.
increased by 8 percent.
In Japan, the number decreased by 2 percent.
More students were taking online courses in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, according CITIGC’s report.
As for U.S. students, they have completed more online courses than any other state, according an analysis by the University of California at Berkeley.
Nearly one-third of U. S. students in 2019 completed online training, up from 27 percent in 2018, according a CITICLE report.
Students from China and Japan were among the top five countries in terms of the number taking online classes, according its data.
More than 1.6 million students completed online programs in the UK and 1.2 million in China last year, the Citi Report noted.
According to CITICT’s data, there were 2.3 million people enrolled in online programs last year in the Netherlands, a country with a high proportion of students from China.
China was the top destination for students in both countries, according for both countries.
There are more than 1,000 online programs available in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Lithuania and Croatia.
China is the largest market for UNAVCO’s online training programs, with about 1,400 students enrolled in its courses, according Toews.
Other markets for online learning include Austria, Belgium, the Czech republic, Germany, France, Japan, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland, according Forews.

Washington, D.C. (AP) The battle over online education is about to get a whole lot more complicated.
The U.S. Department of Education has asked Congress to create a new federal standard that could be used to set standards for online educational resources.
The new standards could be rolled out as early as next year.
But the rules, if approved, would be the first of their kind to apply to online education.
And the rules could make it much harder for schools to survive.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos said the new standards would be designed to give students access to the tools they need to thrive in the digital age.
But critics say the new rules will put more pressure on schools and students to pay for a service they don’t need.
They say the standards could limit the ability of students to learn in an environment where there is no online teacher or support staff.
“The federal standards for education are really just designed to be there for the convenience of those who are online,” said John McTernan, president of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
“They are not designed to do much about how schools are teaching.”
McTernon is also president of Washington, a city of about 3.5 million where online education has exploded.
McTERNAN says he believes the federal government needs to make sure that online education doesn’t become a model for other states.
The standards are designed to help schools stay competitive in an increasingly digital economy, he said.
McAULAND: DeVos says she supports online education standards.
But critics say they’re designed to make it harder for states to survive.
“If we want to compete in the 21st century, we need to get out of this treadmill that we’re in,” said McAULand, president and CEO of the Washington Council on Global Affairs.
The federal government has long tried to push online education to work as a complement to traditional schools.
The U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or UNESCO, has developed rules for online courses, called “Content Areas” that allow students to select content from a library or online course catalog and take it to class.UNESCO also has rules for teaching in the classroom.
But many states don’t have such rules.
Many online education providers are not required to abide by those standards.
And many online teachers say they want to continue to offer online instruction and to use traditional schools for their classes.
In response, many schools have become increasingly reluctant to accept students who don’t follow the rules.
The Education Department has also proposed new requirements for online textbooks and other online materials.
But those rules are still in development.
And DeVos has asked that a special education rule for online instruction be put in place.
The rule would allow online instruction in schools where there are more than 10,000 students.
That could mean that schools that don’t currently offer online learning programs would need to change their policies.
But a number of states are already moving to adopt online instruction.
New York Gov.
Andrew Cuomo recently said his state is in the process of developing a new online education standard.
The Washington Council for Global Affairs has urged the Trump administration to include a new regulation for online schools.
But DeVos said she hopes to use the standards to help states prepare for the new era of the digital economy.
“I don’t want to make these rules for everybody, but we are all in this together,” she said.
“If we’re going to compete globally, we’re all in the same boat.”
