How to get into Berkeley online education

Students in California’s Central Valley may be getting a little more help in finding out about online learning opportunities in their area.

The state’s Department of Education announced Thursday that it has opened an online portal for students to connect with instructors.

The website, the state Department of Public Instruction’s online portal, will provide access to more than 20,000 courses and programs, according to a statement from the state.

The portal will also allow students to search for classes and schools through an on-line search engine.
