Students and teachers in a UK school strike for ‘no’ to pay strike

Students and educators in a British school strike are calling for a pay rise.

The Students and Teachers’ Union of England (STEU) is demanding that all employees at five English universities in the country’s south-east get a wage increase.

Students and teachers at York University and Bristol University are also on strike.

A student union has also announced it will hold a demonstration on Wednesday in front of the National Theatre in London in support of the strike.
